It's been a very busy week for us, and despite the very wet weather at the beginning of the week all the groups came back with smiles on their faces.
We had a small group from Kent out on Dartmoor that had decided they wanted to do their gold DofE outside their school programme and had planned the whole expedition themselves. Perhaps one of the most challenging parts for them was working out the bus timetable to get them to Princetown for the start of the expedition! They finished their expedition on top of Sheepstor with a unique presentation: a collection of songs that had compiled during the trip. Well done - you should be very proud of what you have achieved this week.
Up in Snowdonia the weather was similar - very wet at the beginning of the week and we were wondering if it was ever going to stop, but walking in shorts and t-shirts on the final day. All the groups in Snowdonia were doing their practice expedition and we wish everyone well for their qualifying expeditions wherever they may be.
Next week it's off to the Peak District for us ... then watch out for our 3 Peaks event at the end of the week.
